PACAMOR KUBAR offers a cost effective solution  to handpiece manufacturers and maintenance technicians alike.  PACAMOR KUBAR precision radial handpiece bearings offer long  life and will withstand repeated autoclaving.    

All instrument bearings for dental and surgical applications are manufactured from 440C stainless steel, the preferred choice for all our instrument bearings.  Its corrosion  resistance allows for repeated sterilizing.  Its highly finished, honed surface provides a long lasting structure for the 440C or Silicon Nitride (ceramic) balls, which make the bearing rotate smoothly at the high speeds seen in handpieces.

Bearing Design

PACAMOR KUBAR offers a range of retainer designs and materials including, but not limited to, autoclave resistant  Phenolic, and Torlon (polyamide-imide). 

Radial bearings are user friendly.  The full shoulder design prevents disassembly of the bearing during handling and installation.  

PACAMOR KUBAR miniature and instrument  bearings are available with ABEC 7 tolerances (as defined by the American Bearing Manufacturers' Association) with an optional  flanged outer ring.  Standard radial play is .0002-.0005.

Bearing Lubrication

Bearings are supplied ready for use, lubricated with a food-safe and   autoclave resistant grease.  Optional shields prevent the introduction of contamination during  operation while permitting the bearing to be relubricated after the sterilization process.
